Sonata Facelift Launch - 1st October 2009

We are pleased to announce the launch of the facelifted Sonata and its pricing and specification.

Design

With the facelift come a host of new and revised features including an extensively redesigned interior with a swooping central console finished in metal grain effect and detailed exterior improvements such as new grille, headlamp clusters and alloy wheels.

Pricing and Value

The biggest improvement over the current range, however, is its even more outstanding value for money pricing and specification.

Available in two trims, Style and Premium, the generously equipped entry-level Style with 2.0 petrol manual now starts at just £14,995 OTR, with 2.0 CRDi manual available for an extra £1,000 and 2.0 CRDi automatic for £2,000. The Premium comes with 2.4 petrol automatic and will be available as a special order basis only. Please see below for the full pricelist and key specification by trim.

Running Costs

Not only is it better value for money, the running costs have come down considerably too due to lower CO2 emissions, lower SMR costs and improved fuel consumption. Highlights for 2.0 Style manual include lower VED ban (now Band I) and 3% point lower Company Car Tax, and for 2.0 CRDi Style manual, eligibility for 20% company car write-down allowance and extended service intervals (1 year/12,500 miles).

Availability

The new range is available to order from the 1st October with factory lead times applicable, and the website and the pricelist will be updated by the week commencing 5th October. A further notice on the updated brochure will be sent out in due course.
