Volkswagen Touran Bluemotion
The Touran BlueMotion offers a combined fuel consumption of 52.3mpg - an improvement in mpg of 11%. The C02 emissions are only 144g/km, compared to the current DPF engine's 158g/km. The BlueMotion model achieves these figures through optimised aerodynamics, suspension that's been lowered by 15mm, a new air intake and a smaller front grille that reduces air resistance. The Touran BlueMotion also features an upgraded engine, a gearbox with longer ratios, and low rolling resistance tyres.
